With times passing by, the Antica Masseria Venditti has learned to adapt to them, combining the “humanity” of the old methods with the “rationality” of modern technology.

Island of Wine Culture

The business center, in the heart of the Sannio, named “Island of Wine Culture”, is not just a modern and technologic cellar, but a real experiential journey for our visitors.

Here, one can go over every phase of the production, from the Didactic Vineyard to the cellar in order to live a truly immersive experience by visiting the production ambient.

The Cellar

At the beginning of the 2000’s the whole business center has been renovated with the construction of a new cellar and major technologic investments. In this place, everything is based on wine, on history and on the culture, every space has also been thought to welcome You.

The architecture entered in the cellar, becoming a communication means, innovative and creative, following the wine tourism leads. The search for refined materials and a skilful design have allowed perfect integration with the territory.

The cellar is not a dark and impenetrable place, instead it becomes revolutionary and ready to show itself during the whole year and during every phase of the productive process.

Taking care of the Vineyard

The careful management of our vineyards, which includes winter prunings and green manure in order to regularize production, allows to have healthy and ripe grapes from mid September to the end of October for the harvest, which is still made by hand. The moderate rains, the hot summers and a major thermal excursion between day and night give our wines character, structure and evolutionary potential.

Our organic wines come from grapes that were grown on 20 to 60 year olds vines, all ours.

As FIVI associates, the stamp on every bottle shows a wine which has been produced straight from a winegrower who has strictly followed the whole process from taking care of the vineyard to the process of turning grapes into wine, until the bottling and sale.

Organic Production

The company’s growth is strictly tied with the choice of cultivating only fully organic vineyards, in order to protect the environment without ever using chemical agents, so that we can obtain an organic, natural, genuine and healthy product, which fully respects the terroir’s characteristics. In 1988 the renown Italian magazine “Gambero Rosso” was already referring to the Antica Masseria Venditti as an organic company, 3 years before the official regulation.
